At this point, what happens if you run `mountall` manually at instead
of `zfs mount -a`?

What does `apt-cache policy mountall` say?

This is a long lived system.  Try running `apt-get autoremove --purge`.

If that doesn't remove the obsolete LZFS module (and maybe some other
old stuff too), then run `dpkg --purge lzfs lzfs-dkms`.
