Nowhere near. LZ4 is close enough to free in terms of CPU hit that the
recommendation is to enable it for everything except file systems with
incompressible data (e.g. compressed media libraries).

If you mean to use this to create a backup server, that would work. But if
you mean to plug the disk you removed back into the primary server, you
would have to erase it before re-adding it as a mirror, and then resilver
all of the data to it.
