anyway, AFAIK zfs relies on data written on the hard disks / partitions,
not on the device name
so even you play 'scramble' with your hard disks, zfs will know how to
import the pool

I created a pool using hard disk serial numbers (/dev/disk/by-id/ =
symlinks to /dev/sdX, but now in zpool status are listed as sdX)
